Not A New Idea

I am in no way a fan of anything Zuckerberg, but he saw the positive result of a basic income over welfare in Alaska.
Basic income has been an ancient idea in various formulations. Charles Murray probably had the best, well thought out plan for it over a decade ago in his book, "In Our Hands". m/r

Mark Zuckerberg again defends government giving people free money

  • Zuckerberg explains how a form of universal basic income works in Alaska.
  • He doesn't address Alaska's deficits, however, and the governor's call to increase taxes.
  • He also uses his company as grounds to argue in favor of basic income for individuals.
