"Pinhead" Anchor Baby?!

First baby born with Zika-linked microcephaly in New York tai-state area

Dr Manny's Notes

Doctors at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey confirmed Tuesday the birth of a child suffering from Zika-linked microcephaly, a condition wherein the child's brain and head are partially developed.
The mother, who is 31 but whose name was not disclosed, contracted the Zika virus while in Honduras and was admitted to the emergency room at Hackensack on Friday while vacationing in the United States. Tuesday, doctors delivered her baby girl, who was born also with intestinal and visual issues. Reports indicate she is the first child born with Zika-linked complications in the New York tri-state area.
The child’s mother, who developed a rash for two days in Honduras but had no other symptoms until arriving in the U.S., was under the care of a surgical team led by Dr. Abdulla Al-Khan and Dr. Manny Alvarez, senior managing health editor at FoxNews.com and chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Hackensack. A neonatologist and pediatric infectious disease specialist, as well as nursing personnel, were on hand for the birth.

Measles outbreak traced back to inmate at Arizona immigrant detention facility as confirmed cases continue to grow

  • A measles outbreak in Arizona has been traced back to an immigrant inmate at Eloy Detention Center
  • There are now 11 confirmed cases in Arizona and among those infected are four workers at the facility
  • Authorities are now sharing the locations these four workers visited over the past few days to isolate possible new cases
  • It was a worker at the facility who was already vaccinated that first caught the disease from the infected inmate
  • A woman in Washington died from measles last spring, the first death from the disease in the US for 12 years
  • There was an outbreak in 2014 that began with an infected child at Disneyland that led to 140 confirmed cases but no deaths
Seven of those infected are inmates at the Eloy Detention Center, and four are workers at the facility, Pinal County Health Services spokesman Joe Pyritz said.
The privately-run facility has stopped accepting new detainees or releasing those currently held there.
State and county health officials said they're working to stop new transmissions by isolating patients, vaccinating people detained in the privately-run facility and trying to identify people who were at locations the four infected workers visited.

Bill Kristol promises an ‘impressive’ independent candidate to run against Trump

By Thomas Lifson  May 30, 2016
....
Kristol ignores the Libertarian Party, which just nominated two former GOP governors, Gary Johnson and William Weld, and which is currently polling around 10% support in this year of dissatisfaction with the major party nominees.  Of course, Kristol has been a backer of active U.S. intervention overseas a number of times, while Libertarians tend to take a hands-off policy toward military action abroad.
In fact, there seems very little practical chance for such a candidacy to succeed.  Richard Baehr emails and asks, “What exactly is the point of having another candidate who will not be on the ballot everywhere, and who will win no states?”
Bret Stephens of the Wall Street Journal is upfront about his point:
I want to make a vote to make sure that [Trump] has  — that he is the biggest loser in presidential history since, I don’t know, Alf Landon or going back further[.]
George Will is another member of the spurned lover faction, seeking to punish voters for forsaking the intellectual class of conservatives:
Were [Trump] to be nominated, conservatives would have two tasks. One would be to help him lose 50 states — condign punishment for his comprehensive disdain for conservative essentials, including the manners and grace that should lubricate the nation’s civic life. Second, conservatives can try to save from the anti-Trump undertow as many senators, representatives, governors and state legislators as possible.

For the moment, at least, Kristol is not embracing the Valhalla version of conservative purity.  But the idea of an independent candidate not even on the ballot in major states winning is a fantasy.  Kristol, contra Trump, is no dummy.  But he does not seem to be thinking clearly.

Keep Hate Alive—It’s An Election Year! The ROOTS Racket Rides Again

John Derbyshire   May 30, 2016

The national appetite for stories—books and movies—about white people being beastly to black people is apparently insatiable.
A blockbuster of this genre, which I’ve referred to as “Abolitionist Porn”, was the novel and TV movie Roots, back in the 1970s. The book, written by professional black guy Alex Haley, was published in 1976; the TV show aired in 1977.

There was great enthusiasm at the time about both book and mini-series. I’ll confess: I was caught up in that enthusiasm. I hadn’t been in the U.S.A. very long.  I hadn’t shaken off my youthful naïvete about race. And look, it was 1977—forty years closer to Jim Crow than we are today.

The sea levels are now reducing in the “hotspots of acceleration” of Washington and New York

Guest essay by Giordano Bruno
Hopefully everybody remember Sallenger’s “hot spots” of sea level acceleration along the East Coast of the US.
Asbury H. Sallenger Jr, Kara S. Doran & Peter A. Howd, Hotspot of accelerated sea-level rise on the Atlantic coast of North America, Nature Climate Change 2, 884–888 (2012), doi:10.1038/nclimate1597
This was one of the many examples of bad science misinterpreting the sea level oscillations by cherry picking the time window.
As 6 more years of data have been collected, let see if the hotspots are now the “hottest on record” or if they have cooled down.
The logic of Sallenger & co. was based on the comparison of the rate of rise of sea levels over the first and second half of time windows of 60, 50 and 40 years, i.e. the comparison of the rate of rise over the first and the last 30, 25 and 20 years respectively of these 60, 50 and 40 years windows.
This did not make any sense to me, as if you do have sinusoidal oscillations of periodicity 60 years, positive and negative phases of 30 years, and you select the end of the time widows at the end of one positive phase, this way you will always have “positive acceleration” even if there is none, and everybody knew about periods and phasing of the natural oscillations.
The logic was clearly flawed, but obviously Nature did not accepted any comment. The science is settled, and can’t be discussed.

It's raining men! Sweden sees historic gender balance shift

May 30, 2016

STOCKHOLM (AP) — Famous for its efforts to put women on an equal footing with men, Sweden is experiencing a gender balance shift that has caught the country by surprise: For the first time since record-keeping began in 1749, it now has more men than women.
Swedes don't quite know what to make of this sudden male surplus, which is highly unusual in the West, where women historically have been in the majority in almost every country. But it may be a sign of things to come in Europe as changes in life expectancy and migration transform demographics.
"This is a novel phenomenon for Europe," said Francesco Billari, a University of Oxford demographer who is president of the European Association for Population Studies. "We as researchers have not been on top of this."

Clinton originally planned to campaign for two days this week in New Jersey, but at the last minute canceled an event on Thursday and will instead return to California for a five-day swing.

Conservative Author P.J. O'Rourke Reluctantly Backs Clinton

from May 9, 2016

Hillary Clinton snagged another endorsement over the weekend, but don't expect her to trumpet it on the campaign trail.
"I have a little announcement to make ... I'm voting for Hillary. I am endorsing Hillary," noted conservative author P.J. O'Rourke said on NPR's Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me. The episode aired over the weekend.
If the Clinton campaign wants to tout O'Rourke's support as it tries to woo moderate Republicans who supported Jeb Bush and George W. Bush, it might want to end the quote there.

"I am endorsing Hillary, and all her lies and all her empty promises," O'Rourke continued. "It's the second-worst thing that can happen to this country, but she's way behind in second place. She's wrong about absolutely everything, but she's wrong within normal parameters."

Zuckerberg, much like the arrogant and unsophisticated brewer who built the mansion Gatsby bought.

Zuckerberg appears to view his neighbors, not to mention the rest of US, as peasantry or the serfdom. m/r
"I walked out the back way — just as Gatsby had when he had made his nervous circuit of the house half an hour before — and ran for a huge black knotted tree, whose massed leaves made a fabric against the rain. Once more it was pouring, and my irregular lawn, well-shaved by Gatsby’s gardener, abounded in small, muddy swamps and prehistoric marshes. There was nothing to look at from under the tree except Gatsby’s enormous house, so I stared at it, like Kant at his church steeple, for half an hour. A brewer had built it early in the “period” craze, a decade before, and there was a story that he’d agreed to pay five years’ taxes on all the neighboring cottages if the owners would have their roofs thatched with straw. Perhaps their refusal took the heart out of his plan to Found a Family — he went into an immediate decline. His children sold his house with the black wreath still on the door. Americans, while occasionally willing to be serfs, have always been obstinate about being peasantry."

Meet the Rt. Rev. Charles Murray and the holy Establishmentarians.

May 27, 2016  by Esther  Goldberg

In a remarkable essay, Charles Murray adumbrates the tenets of a new religion which might be called the Church of Conservatism. The theology could be fleshed out a bit, but for now here is what we may infer from what Mr. Murray tells us.
The new church has a high priesthood, whom Mr. Murray label Establishmentarians. Its members are a select group, “the tiny fraction of the population that deals professionally in public policy from the right.” Only they are permitted to enter the inner sanctum of the Church, the Holy of Holies, wherein is kept the Book of the True Conservative, which contains the principles of the new religion. The priesthood is given the keys to the kingdom, the right to say who is and who is not a conservative, the right to sanctify and the power to anathemize.
A fundamental dogma of the Church is that Donald Trump is evil. Not that his views are all bad. Some might in fact be socially beneficial. No, Trump is evil in his essence, like Satan, if you will. And he must be denounced as such by all Establishmentarians, and his influence exorcised wherever it might be found amongst the erring members of the Church.
Many of the Church’s priests are “columnists, media pundits, public intellectuals and politicians” whose role is to preach about the application of the principles of True Conservatism to public policy and good government. The authentic Priests have already identified themselves publicly as #NeverTrump, meaning that there is no way in Hell that they will ever cast a vote for Trump.

There is no hatred like an odium theologicum, said John Stuart Mill, and Murray reserves all his powers of vituperation for the heretical followers of Mr. Trump.

Vandals Deface Vietnam War Memorial In Venice

VENICE (CBSLA.com) — Vandals defaced a memorial to Vietnam war veterans in Venice – an awful sight on this Memorial Day weekend.
Stewart Oscars welled up as he looked at the vandalized mural located on Pacific Avenue near Sunset Court. It was covered in graffiti from end to end.
“This knocked me out. So sickening. Just sadness…think of all these people. They’re gone,” Oscars said. “I remember the Vietnam war and how friends went to war, and bodies came back. Somehow, it has to be taught that this is not a good idea. This is actually stupid.”
...
People on this street said the memorial was tagged a few days ago. They said the graffiti matches some of the other ones in the neighborhood.
The Los Angeles Police Department said it is not investigating the case.

Rioters Prove Mexicans “Not Criminals” By Committing Criminal Acts; Prove Their Loyalty To The U.S. By Brandishing The Mexican Flag–Brilliant Strategy!

by Allan Wall  May 25, 2016

The violent mayhem being loosed against Trump at various rallies resembles that of a Third World country. It should also remind us that the framers of the U.S. Constitution were against “mobocracy”.
A significant proportion of these rioters are Mexicans or Mexican-Americans, though it is clear they self-identify as the former not the latter.
They are angry at Trump for calling Mexicans criminals. So to prove Trump is wrong they commit criminal acts.

Yeah, that’s brilliant.

Do they claim to be Americans? If so, why brandish the Mexican flag and yell “¡Viva México!”?

by Jack Cashill  5-25-16

Starting on Memorial Day Weekend, A&E Networks will unleash a four-part, eight-hour production of “Roots,” a revisiting of the 1977 mini-series based on the Alex Haley book of the same name.
...
Approaching 70 when “Roots” debuted, Harold Courlander was shocked to read it. For the previous 30 years or more, Courlander had been traveling the world collecting folk tales and writing about his findings.
Courlander, who was white, wrote a novel titled “The African.” He had earned $14,000 for it. Less than 10 years later, Alex Haley flagrantly rewrote large sections of his book and made $2.6 million in hardcover royalties alone.
Courlander was not a happy camper. In 1978, he sued Haley in a U.S. District Court in New York for copyright infringement. The suit cited 81 passages that had been lifted from Courlander’s “The African” as well as the plot and certain characters. ...

Couric can be heard in the interview asking activists from the group, “If there are no background checks for gun purchasers, how do you prevent felons or terrorists from purchasing a gun?”

FBI: Illegal Alien Gang Members Murdered Victims 30 Minutes From U.S. Immigration Headquarters

Just beyond the shadows of the White House and U.S. Capitol, three illegal alien members of the notorious Salvadorian street gang MS-13 were convicted last Friday of a slew of violent crimes including openly shooting one guy and viciously stabbing and hacking up another, as well as engaging in racketeering, weapons crimes, and other various no good, very bad things.
Jorge Enrique Moreno-Aguilar (aka Flaco and Castigato), Juan Alberto Ortiz-Orellana (aka Chele and Furia) and Minor Perez-Chach (aka Minor Chach-Perez, Little Bad and Bryant Sacarias), all from Maryland, were convicted last week in the U.S. District Court in Maryland. ...

...
But despite detailing the heinous crimes and boasting of their own success in apprehending such violent criminals, the Justice Department never once referenced the immigration status of the three convicted criminals in their press release. Apparently, informing the public as to whether these guys should have even been in the country in the first place isn’t relevant.

Trade pitch turns Obama into salesman for Vietnam shoes

May 24, 2016  By Anita Kumar

Each year, tens of millions of pairs of shoes made in Vietnam find their way into stores in the United States, from Macy’s and Nike to Target and Walmart.
And if President Barack Obama uses his first trip to Vietnam to sell a sweeping 12-nation trade pact – slashing tariffs on products imported to the United States – Americans could see even more Vietnam-made shoes in their local stores, kicking up concerns by those already uneasy about the still sluggish American economy.
Though Japan has received much of the attention, it’s actually Vietnam, with one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing economies, that has the most to gain from the Trans Pacific Partnership. The deal would allow Vietnam’s manufacturing industry – already booming because of low labor costs – to export more products to the United States, primarily clothes, textiles and shoes.

Chelsea and Hillary Dance on Scalia's Grave

Tasteless
The hypocrisy of those who travel everywhere with heavily armed security and the perpetual protection of Secret Service agents, such as Chelsea and Hillary Clinton, yet see no need for the great unwashed to protect themselves, is not surprising. Of course, these elites deem themselves higher-value targets than the rest of us. All Americans are equal but some are more equal than others. That housewife in Dubuque whose home a rapist just broke into, well, she can just call 911, thank you

It would be no surprise if that housewife in Dubuque might put a higher value on the right to keep and bear arms as enshrined in the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and perhaps even shed a tear at the passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scala, a staunch defender of the Constitution and its original intent. To Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, Scalia’s death was a cause for celebration, a chance for de facto repeal of the Second Amendment via legislating from the bench by Scalia’s replacement, appointed by another President Clinton. As the Washington Free Beacon reported:

Chelsea Clinton said at an event in Maryland that there is now an opportunity for gun control legislation to pass the Supreme Court since Justice Antonin Scalia passed away.

Mark Steyn: Hillary Presidency Would Be ‘Death of the Republic,’ ‘Descent Into Banana Republic’

by | May 16th, 2016

Filling in for Rush Limbaugh Monday morning, conservative author and pundit Mark Steyn tore into Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, promising her presidency would destroy American democracy as we know it.
Steyn began by bringing up the Clinton Foundation, which he called a barely-concealed platform for the rich and powerful to buy access under the facade of charity. “It’s corrupt. It’s stingily corrupt, it’s obviously corrupt,” he said.

He bashed conservatives like Max Boot and P.J. O’Rourke who say they would likely vote for Clinton because of concerns over Trump’s foreign policy. “Hillary is the embodiment of corruption and therefore the death of the republic,” he argued.

Legislative Idiocy, With a G-String

by Scott McKay May 20, 2016

Louisiana’s stupid “sexist” stripper-statute scuffle.

On Wednesday, as Louisiana’s Republican-majority legislature shambled down the road toward finishing a session in which it will increase the state’s budget by a billion dollars and yet perhaps require a special session next month in order to raise taxes to cover what Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards says is a $600 million deficit, an otherwise mundane exercise in lawmaking mediocrity erupted into a shining moment of national controversy.
That’s because during debate of an uncommonly dopey piece of legislation, SB 468 by Sen. Ronnie Johns (R-Lake Charles) which would outlaw adults younger than 21 from plying their trades as strippers, someone dared, briefly, to commit an act of limiting government.
Rep. Kenny Havard (R-Jackson) offered an amendment to the bill designed as a poison pill, an amendment patently absurd that, in its offering, would have illuminated the absurdity of the bill itself. This was an exercise in courage, mind you, because Johns’ bill — which is advertised somehow as an effort to defeat human trafficking (don’t ask me how, I can’t explain that one) — had sailed through a Senate committee, the Senate floor, and a House committee without a single vote in opposition at any stage of the process.
Havard’s absurd amendment was a humorous one; it would accept the 21-year old minimum age for a stripper but, perhaps in the name of consumer protection, set a maximum age for Louisiana exotic dancers at 28 and a maximum weight of 160 pounds.

The Bitch-of-Benghazi deserves all she gets and more

Trump escalates attack on Bill Clinton

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is reviving some of the ugliest political chapters of the 1990s with escalating personal attacks on Bill Clinton’s character amid a concerted effort to smother Hillary Clinton’s campaign message with the weight of decades of controversy.
Trump’s latest shot came Monday when he released an incendiary Instagram video that includes the voices of two women who accused the former president of sexual assault, underscoring the presumptive Republican nominee’s willingness to go far beyond political norms in his critique of his likely Democratic rival.
The real estate mogul has said in recent interviews that a range of Clinton-related controversies will be at the center of his case against Hillary Clinton.
“They said things about me which were very nasty. And I don’t want to play that game at all. I don’t want to play it — at all. But they said things about me that were very nasty,” Trump told The Washington Post in an interview. “And, you know, as long as they do that, you know, I will play at whatever level I have to play at. I think I’ve proven that.”

How many divisions has the Beltway Right?—to paraphrase Stalin’s famous question about the Pope. Or, to paraphrase an equally famous philosophical question, if a National Review columnist announces he isn’t voting for Trump, does anyone care?

Jonah Goldberg [Email him] answered the question no one asked by declaring “Sorry, I Still Won’t Ever Vote for Trump” [May 21, 2016]. Goldberg says it’s about his “conscience.” Evidently, the nightmarish policies President Hillary Clinton will unleash and the continuing suffering inflicted on Americans from murderous illegals don’t trouble Goldberg’s sleep, but the prospect of a candidate who gives joy to the Alt Right keeps him up at night.

Erick Erickson is begging Mitt Romney to run for President. CAIRO (AP) -- An Islamic State group spokesman has urged sympathizers in Europe and the U.S. to launch attacks on civilians there if they are unable to travel to the group's self-declared caliphate in Syria and Iraq.
In a 31-minute audio message released late Saturday by the IS media arm al-Furqan, Abu Mohammed al-Adnani told his followers that, "the tiniest action you do in the heart of their land is dearer to us than the biggest action by us ... there are no innocents in the heart of the lands of the Crusaders."
He encouraged lone wolf attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which is expected to start early next month, "to win the great award of martyrdom."
Al-Adnani also said the U.S.-led war against the group was doomed to failure and that America "fell in the swamp of perdition."

Just What National Parks and Suburbs Need, garbage and violence in the campgrounds and streets

Some keep on seeing, non-existent, strange fruit. m/r

The Obama era has seen the “Sharptoning” of America as the same ugly shakedown scams that were being practiced in New York or Chicago were suddenly national policy. This is the Sharptoning of the National Park Service. It’s happening in every agency and arm of government. We just don’t notice it.

Trees in America's National Parks Are Racist!

May 19, 2016  Rush Limbaugh

RUSH: You know, I've referenced this a couple times, never got to the details.  I grabbed it from the archives Stack.  Hang on, folks.  There.  I got it.
"The Racist Trees of Our National Parks." Front Page magazine. "Trees are America's newest racist symbol."  Ready for this?  What do you think this is about?  Now, what do you think?  Just take a stab here, folks, in the dark. "The Racist Trees of Our National Parks. Trees are America's newest racist symbol." Again, to who?  Who thinks trees are racist?  "Trees are America's newest racist symbol."  Who thinks this?  I would submit to you nobody thinks it.
Somebody with a fax machine and a logo sent out some thing that they're offended by and the Drive-Bys pick it up because it fits a narrative they've already established.  Okay, ready?  You can't think of why a tree would be racist.  Wait 'til you hear this, then.  If you're really dumbfounded.  This is not a joke.
"Mickey Fearn," as opposed to Mickey Birch, "Mickey Fearn, the National Park Service Deputy Director for Communications and Community Assistance --" What a title.  What a job.  The National Park Service Deputy Director -- means he's assistant -- for Communications and Community Assistance, "made headlines when he claimed that black people do not visit National Parks because..." Because... of the trees.  The trees remind them of their slave ancestors being lynched by their masters.

Government Employment is Not Work

Some people work for a living, others have government positions a useful as statues.

Why did we need this massive Dept of Homeland Security with the TSA? It is all one big overlay bureaucracy on top of pre-existing massive bureacracies that were already doing the same functions.  m/r

TSA’s Union Power Grab: Thousands Slowing Down Airports | VDARE - premier news outlet for patriotic immigration reform

Michelle Malkin  May 17, 2016

All you travelers stuck in mile-long TSA security lines are pawns. Convenient political pawns. Big Labor bosses want more power and more money. Stranded travelers are just the latest victims in this age-old game of D.C. extortion.
Union leaders want you to think the fault lies with a stingy Congress unwilling to fork over enough money to fill screener shortages. White House spokesman Josh Earnest poured more partisan fuel on the fire last week by blaming the nationwide slowdowns on “the inability of Republicans in Congress to govern the country.”
What a load of flying horse hockey.
randomlyThe 15-year-old Transportation Security Administration now has a massive annual budget of nearly $7.6 billion and a workforce of nearly 60,000. They had enough tax dollars to waste on an idiotic $1.4 million iPad app that randomly points left or right; $3 million on more than 200 useless explosive detection “puffer” machines that didn’t detect explosives reliably; and unknown gobs in awards and automatic bonuses to senior TSA managers at a time when the agency was repeatedly failing internal tests of its ability to stop weapons, bombs and terror threats.

The Thinking Man’s Guide to Donald Trump

May 11, 2016  - by Don Surber

Why Donald Trump should be President.

If a year ago someone told me I would be an advocate of Donald Trump, I would have laughed, because everyone knew he was a joke with a toupee. But on August 27, 2015, at a rally in Greenville, South Carolina, when Mary Margaret Bannister pulled his hair, we learned he does not wear a wig.
And in researching my upcoming book, Trump The Press, I learned he is no joke. He has developed the leadership skills needed to lead the free world.
In December 2014, Peter Economy of Inc. magazine wrote, “The Top 10 Skills Every Great Leader Needs to Succeed.” Trump has them all.

Bravo! Sin español hablado aquí!

This is still America, isn't it!?
Not as far as Lefty Spanish Speaking Groups are concerned. They want the Federales to Investigate.
In a real world, the Feds should investigate the Spanish Language Advocates for demanding that Spanish be spoken.
Again, does Spanish imply that its speakers are too retarded to learn English as other, non-English speaking, immigrants to the US do? m/r

Custard stand's language practice prompts call for federal probe

By Meg Jones and Jesse Garza of the Journal Sentinel  -  5-19-16

You might not want to order helado de menta at Leon's Frozen Custard - that was the flavor of the day on Thursday - because the owner of the famous stand on Milwaukee's south side urges his employees to speak only English.

After news surfaced this week that the owner of Leon's told his employees not to converse with customers ordering in Spanish, a Latino civil rights organization called for a federal investigation and a Milwaukee business catering to families decided to hand out free ice cream to anyone who asks for it in a language other than English.

Leon's owner Ron Schneider said his employees and customers are not barred from speaking Spanish, but that for about a year he's been telling staff to communicate in English as much as possible.

"I'm trying to avoid (customers) getting used to Spanish and then one day finding no one here
who can speak it," Schneider said in a telephone interview Wednesday night, adding that only a few of the custard stand's roughly two dozen employees speak Spanish.

That prompted the League of United Latin American Citizens to call for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to investigate the "policy" at the restaurant, contending that it violates federal labor law. ...

Visitor logs show Google's unrivaled White House access - Watchdog.org

by   /  May 16, 2016

A project examining White House visitor logs shows the Obama administration has extended an open door to Google.

Johanna Shelton, Google’s director of public policy — in effect, the company’s top lobbyist — has visited White House officials 128 times since President Barack Obama took office in 2009.

To put that in perspective, senior lobbyists for other companies in the telecommunications and cable industry — including Comcast, Facebook, Amazon, Oracle and Verizon — have visited the White House a combined 124 times in the same span. (That data goes through October 2015.)

The Google Transparency Project, the work of Campaign for Accountability, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to expose corporate influence on government, identified policy pushers for the 50 biggest lobbying spenders and counted how many times they appeared in the White House visitor logs.

Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, spent $16.6 million on lobbying in 2015. That was the twelfth most of any company, and the most by a technology  firm, just above AT&T’s $16.4 million and Comcast’s $15.7 million.

Don't You Wish They Were Both Gone Already?!

Chronic Clinton Fatigue - The retrospective from Hell.

Two Presidents in the White House? - WSJ

For many years, one of Bill and Hillary Clinton's closest friends, TV producer Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, has been fond of saying that when the Clintons "are dead and gone, each of them is going to be buried next to a president of the United States."

It is an idea that the Clintons began talking about decades ago. Back in 1974, Bill Clinton told his friend Diane Kincaid that Hillary "could be president someday." During his own presidential campaign in 1992, he said in an interview, "Eight years of Hillary Clinton? Why not?"

We now face the extraordinary possibility of having two presidents in the White House who are married to each other. That prospect is something that never occurred to our nation's founders, and is only now beginning to catch the attention of the public, with Hillary Clinton's position as front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Obama's Warning Against Inexperienced Presidents: Too Bad The Nation Didn't Agree Before Electing Him

Obama's Warning Against Inexperienced Presidents: His Best Joke Yet

... once described himself as a blank screen ...

It was actually a good decision to present this in the form of a comedy routine because otherwise, any
thinking person’s reaction would be, “SERIOUSLY?!” Barack Obama is lecturing us on the dangers of electing a president with no experience?
I’d say his entire Administration has been an object lesson on the dangers of that. For the selling of the Iran nuclear deal, the inexperienced president even employed a “foreign policy expert” with no experience at foreign policy.

Don't You Know that it is OK for the New York Times to Engage in Racism, Sexism, Ageism - They Have Good Intentions

New York Times Sued for Racism, Sexism, Ageism | The American Spectator

by Jeffrey Lord May 16, 2016

Trump front page story a pinup of liberal media double-standard.

So.

Here is the front page New York Times story from Sunday:
Crossing the Line: Trump’s Private Conduct With Women
Beneath the header is this:
Interviews with dozens of women who encountered Donald J. Trump revealed unsettling conduct over decades.

They offer a complex and at times contradictory portrait of a man who both nurtured women’s careers and mocked their physical appearance.
Among other charges in this story, the Times accuses Trump “of unending commentary on the female form, a shrewd reliance on ambitious women, and unsettling workplace conduct…”

What does the New York Times — the so-called “paper of record” — not tell you in this story? How about what could surely be called the “unsettling conduct” of the Times itself ?
Specifically, it does not say that a mere 18 days earlier on April 28, 2016 — not just four decades ago, as it accuses Trump — the New York Times was accused in a federal lawsuit filed of not only sexism but racism and ageism to boot. And that would be in a lawsuit filed by employees of — yes — the New York Times.
