Trump Talks Bawdy–So What?

John Derbyshire   October 8, 2016   FULL SHORT POST

What on earth is all the fuss about?
Dr. Johnson said of [British Prime Minister Sir Robert] Walpole that “he always talked bawdy at his table, because in that all could join.” At least one American President seems to have been of the same disposition.  When Vernon Jordan was asked what he and Bill Clinton talked about when playing golf, Jordan replied: “We talk p****y.” Walpole’s combination of political skill and personal crudity is very Clintonian.  [300 Years of Prime Ministers by John Derbyshire; Taki’s Magazine, May 14th 2015.]
Are grownups allowed to vote in this election?
