There is a Parallel Here to When the Slaves Were Freed, But No One Told Them They Were Not Freed From Work

The Freedom Expectation for freed slaves took the unfortunate twist that the slave thought freedom from bondage also meant freedom from work. It was irresponsible and caused problems that still plague America. Booker T. Washington understood the problem and addressed it. Unfortunately, the irresponsible Socialist path proselytized by W. E. B. Du Bois, being the easier, but least responsible path, was more widely exploited and accepted. m/r
