Again, Race Trumps Reason - Juan Williams Defends Eric Holder Over Secret Monitoring of Reporters

This is a new type of color blindness. As with Colin Powell, who thinks Obama is doing just fine, Juan Williams, who should know better after his bad treatment at NPR, is going through ridiculous, contradictory, irrational and unreasonable verbal gymnastics to continue support for the Attorney General, in spite of the facts that Eric Holder is a liar, if not a criminal, and should at least leave office. m/r

Juan Williams Defends Eric Holder Over Secret Monitoring of Reporters - Katie Pavlich
5-29-13 -full short post-

Last night on the O'Reilly Factor, "real journalist" Juan Williams defended Attorney General Eric Holder as he faces calls from both Republicans and Democrats to step down after revelations the Department of Justice has been secretly monitoring reporters. Holder has been assigned to investigate thes secret monitoring. The problem, Holder personally signed off of the monitoring of Fox News' Chief Washington Correspondent James Rosen's personal and work emails, phone calls and the phones of his parents in Staten Island. Williams thinks Holder is "the perfect guy" to look into the case despite these facts and cited national security as an excuse for the monitoring even though DOJ broke its own policies to do so for vast periods of time.
"What's lame here Bill is that people don't realize this is about national security."
