This uniform could help bring a cease fire, especially in winter.
Seriously, our weather in the Northeast now matches the Siberian frost in Manchuria. It gives a hint of what our troops experienced all winter during the Korean War 1950-1953. Now not only the weather matches, but the duplicitous N. Koreans have uniformed their boarder guards with uniforms hard to distinguish from the S. Korean uniforms. At least this is out in the open. Most of the N. Korean chicanery is discovered after the fact: tunnels, boarder clashes with artillery and rockets, ship sinking, missiles, shared weaponry with Iran and Atomic weapons with the help of Jimmy Carter.
The War is still officially on with intermingled breaks in the cease-fire. It still makes one think of MacArthur vs. Truman and the consequenses.
N.Korean troops' new uniform alarms S.KoreaDec 28, 2010
Some North Korean troops stationed along the border have donned a camouflage uniform similar to that worn by South Koreans, apparently to practise intrusion drills, a defence ministry official said Tuesday.
The move prompted the South to advance the supply of new uniforms for its own troops to avoid confusion, the official told journalists in a background briefing.
