Slow Germ Warfare

It may have been a rude and careless accident that caused the outbreak of the Chinese Virus in Wuhan, but the Chi-Comms manipulated into a slow and deadly economic and lethal weapon.
Greater Wuhan, China, is a metropolis of about 15 million people. Almost double that of New York City. Within that City the Chi-Comms have two government viral research institutes. These institutes are proud of their recent discoveries that include nearly 2,000 new viruses that were not known to the world. One of these was the strain of coronavirus that come from Horseshoe Bats.
It was an early claim out of Wuhan that the source of the virus came from the bats sold in the local open food market, locally called the Wet Market or Fish Market.
The problem is that there were no bats sold in that market according to 59 of the local shoppers who were surveyed in that market. It is also reported that the closest domain of the Chinese Horseshoe Bats is over 550± miles away from Wuhan.
There were, however, Horseshoe Bats used in research in the Wuhan Viral Research Centers, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Communist China, as a totalitarian country has less regard for individuals and total dominance over their life and death in the furthering of power of the state, its leaders and in traditional face-saving. The people are expendable. Truth is always expendable (much as with our media) and we will probably never know how many Chinese have died and how many were infected and are still being infected with the Chinese Virus. Their numbers of cases reported now are obviously bogus. As Communists are instructed, the Chi-Comms are determined to use this crisis to their ultimate advantage.

Some Things Never Change - Walter Duranty Lives On at the New York Times ...

... and he has been syndicated to MSNBC, CNN, Washington Post, NBC, CBS, ABC, etc.

Walter Duranty (1884-1957) was a correspondent for the New York Times who violated the public trust by sending pro-Soviet stories home, pretending that all was well even as Russia starved 6 million Ukrainians to death. Bewilderingly, he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for telling these lies. [https://www.nationalreview.com/stuttaford/stuttaford050703.asp]
Duranty is known for being a Stalinist sympathizer, Soviet propagandist, and blatant liar. Duranty's reports stated that the Soviets were ruling in the best interest of the people. He referred to Stalin as "the greatest living statesman".

So now the the lying Spirit of Duranty has moved on to Communist China. From the NY Times and its news media toadies, "The US Now Leads the World in Coronavirus Cases".
The Times along wth the ALWAYS CORRUPT WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO) just carry on the lies of the Chi-Comms and never investigate their claims that there are no new Wuhan Virus cases in Red China!

China (and Russia) was also claiming humanitarian victory by sending massive amounts (and charging for them) of Chinese Virus testing and medical equipment. These devices, according to the countries who received them, were 80% defective!

Beware of Bad Samaritans

China and Russia are sending medical aid to Italy and other coronavirus-stricken countries, but their motives aren’t so altruistic.

Kennedy Center Gets a Pot of Gold on the Cheap and Dirty

Pelosi threw lots of corrupt pork into the Chinese Flu $2.2 Gazillion bailout. Dipso Democrat Pelosi added $25 million to the bailout to the overly endowed DC Kennedy Center and big Dem. Party contributor. Not that the Kennedy Center has anything to do with the Virus, except that it either had close during the pandemic or remove 83% of its seats to kept its patrons socially distant.
Not to worry though. It's lefty connected President, Deborah Rutter, still gets her annual $1.2 million cut.
Just to make sure she stays fat and in the dough, she laid off the National Symphony Orchestra’s 96 musicians without pay.
Now that is simultaneous social justice warfare and social distancing.

Chi-Comm's Andromeda Strain

The People's Republic of China has proven itself to be a global threat to us all. That means we need to go back to the old boycott before China opened up.
They produce our medical raw chemicals, then they threaten to withhold the drugs. They are pure gangster extortionist!

Hospital Check-In

I'm at the hospital for post surgery blood tests.
Amazingly, the parking lot is nearly empty. Usually it's full and sometimes overloaded with cars parked illegally.
I get off the elevator on the third floor. The door across the hall that has always been open, is now closed. There is a table setup with two nurses sitting behind it. They ask my name. Then ask, been out of the country in the last two weeks, out of the state, any cough, runny nose, tightness breathing?
Answer was no to all.
Then my temperature is taken. It seemed to take a long time to register a reading. Finally, 97.6 degrees.
I go into the post surgery reception behind the doors. They recognize me. My blood test prescriptions were sent downstairs to surgery and lab checkin.
Back downstairs. At the checkin desk no temperature, but the same questions plus one.
Have you been in New York City in the past two weeks?
No. But I had been thinking about going there just to see what the metropolis looked like void of people. I lived there years ago. It was busy, but not overwhelming to me. I bet the streets looked clear as they would have in the 1920s.
I was given my hospital wristband and walked down to the lab to get my blood tests.

NOW THAT BRITAIN IS FREE FROM THE EU DICTATES

After things settle down and the Chinese virus finally passes, one of the best ways to make the Brexit split complete is to return to Imperial Weights and Measures.
That would mean having distances in miles (most still are), lengths in feet and inches, 12 hour clocks,  liquid in pints, quarts and gallons, meat and produce in pounds and ounces and temperature in Fahrenheit. These were based on ancient human measurement and scale, not concoctions from the French Revolution.

Metric can remain for medicine and chemicals (and drug dealers).
Make the exit complete!

Shopping in Grim Times

The items that people buyout seem silly: Every kind of tomato sauce and pasta, all paper goods, frozen vegetables, ice cream (for eating while setting around), breakfast cereal (for kids at home from school and constipated oldsters), bananas one day (but back the next and greener).
Toilet paper is the most sought after item of all. I never makes the shelves. It tends to be the poorest quality, not quite white and looks like it may have splinters. It is much like the only toilet paper you could get in Russia years ago, Maybe still?
Statistically chances of getting the virus are really slim (.000012%), and death is almost out of the question. Unfortunately the virus seems able to seek out the most susceptible. Sometimes it runs in families. Other times it is in old age homes that are poorly administered.
These are grim times and, sadly, the economic reversals have just begun.

Is There Something in the Italian DNA

It may be common to the Mediterranean geographic area, but my anecdotal study over the years has found that Multiple Sclerosis MS appears to strike Italians or people with Italian heritage more readily than the general population.

Multiple sclerosis in southern Europe - Journal of Epidemiology

Italians in Italy are now suffering the highest percentage of Chinese Coronavirus cases than other populations defined by their national boundaries. As of today, in Italy, there are 53,578 active virus cases, 4,825 related deaths and 6,072 recovered according to:
