Why! It has FEW Regulations. Yet It is Part of China! Hong Kong unemployment falls to 13-year low

'Obumer' could learn much from Hong Kong.

Hong Kong unemployment falls to 13-year low
Sep 20, 2011
Hong Kong said Tuesday its unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest in more than 13 years thanks largely to a strong local economy, but analysts warned the figure could rise again.

The unemployment rate for the June-August period fell to 3.2 percent, from 3.4 percent in the May-July, which marked Hong Kong's lowest jobless rate since February 1998, the Census and Statistics Department said.

The figure was below the average 3.5 percent unemployment rate forecast in a poll of seven economists by Dow Jones Newswires.

The total number of people in jobs in the June-August period rose by around 10,800, to 3,636,600 people -- a record high for the Chinese city of seven million people.

It's inbred and dysfunctional! 'federal family' for government expands under Obama

Now we are Comrades and the Mexicans are Citizens!

FEMA'S use of term 'federal family' for government expands under Obama
Sept. 1, 2011 GEORGE BENNETT

Don’t think of it as the federal government but as your “federal family.”

In a Category 4 torrent of official communications during the approach and aftermath of Hurricane Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has repeatedly used the phrase “federal family” when describing the Obama administration’s response to the storm.

The Obama administration didn’t invent the phrase but has taken it to new heights.

“Under the direction of President Obama and Secretary Janet Napolitano, the entire federal family is leaning forward to support our state, tribal and territorial partners along the East Coast,” a FEMA news release declared Friday as Irene churned toward landfall.

The G-word — “government” — has been nearly banished, with FEMA instead referring to federal, state and local “partners” as well as “offices” and “personnel.”

Parasite John Kerry: Silence Those Annoying Peasants! Kerry can't help being the tallest liar in the Senate!

It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.

John Kerry: Silence Those Annoying Peasants! - HUMAN EVENTS

The Ministry of Truth strikes back.
08/05/2011 by John Hayward
In an astonishing appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” today, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) declared freedom of speech and unbiased news coverage to be among the great enemies of the glorious State. Video courtesy of The Blaze:

If you can’t stomach the whole thing, I sympathize. Making sense of two solid minutes of Kerry babble is agonizing. Here’s the part everyone is quoting today:

And I have to tell you, I say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it’s exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual.

It doesn’t deserve the same credit as a legitimate idea about what you do. And the problem is everything is put into this tit-for-tat equal battle and America is losing any sense of what’s real, of who’s accountable, of who is not accountable, of who’s real, who isn’t, who’s serious, who isn’t?

In other words, he thinks its time for the media to start ignoring the Tea Party. Savor the pure, incomprehensible lunacy of his opening, too:

Just remember what a cheap, lying hypocritical SOB John Kerry is:

Sen. John Kerry skips town on sails tax

Sen. John Kerry, who has repeatedly voted to raise taxes while in Congress, dodged a whopping six-figure state tax bill on his new multimillion-dollar yacht by mooring her in Newport, R.I.

Isabel - Kerry’s luxe, 76-foot New Zealand-built Friendship sloop with an Edwardian-style, glossy varnished teak interior, two VIP main cabins and a pilothouse fitted with a wet bar and cold wine storage - was designed by Rhode Island boat designer Ted Fontaine.

But instead of berthing the vessel in Nantucket, where the senator summers with the missus, Teresa Heinz, Isabel’s hailing port is listed as “Newport” on her stern.

Could the reason be that the Ocean State repealed its Boat Sales and Use Tax back in 1993, making the tiny state to the south a haven - like the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Nassau - for tax-skirting luxury yacht owners?

Cash-strapped Massachusetts still collects a 6.25 percent sales tax and an annual excise tax on yachts. Sources say Isabel sold for something in the neighborhood of $7 million, meaning Kerry saved approximately $437,500 in sales tax and an annual excise tax of about $70,000.

We are all doomed, remember: Nuclear Winter: Poetry for the Apocalypse (1986)

Billions and Billions of Radioactive Particles predicted as our frozen doom? Might as well use Tarot Cards to predict the future. Now we've got the global warming ...er... "Climate Change" scam. Except global warming is more insidious with schemes to tax, legislate and control our lives based through national and international treaties that create a world police state. ♘
"Sagan and Ehrlich picked as their "baseline case" a 5,000 megaton war. . . The results of such a war: a cloud of dust and smoke weighing 1.2 billion tons rapidly envelops the Northern Hemisphere and swiftly swirls into the Southern Hemisphere as well, blocking out 90% or more of the sun's light. Surface temperatures plunge to an average of --13° F and remain below freezing for three months, even if the war is fought in the Northern Hemisphere summer. Nothing can grow; those humans who survive the blast and radiation of the explosions freeze or starve to death. At best, Ehrlich figures, small bands of hunters and gatherers would be left in the Southern Hemisphere."

a Letter to Santa poem from 'Nuclear Winter':

Dear Santa, please hurry here.

Our daughter Marie is only four

but her logic is as clear

as midnight broken by the searing light

of the bomb blast.

She's afraid you aren't coming

because the shelter has no chimney,

only an air vent to filter out death.

She smiled a little when we told her

she'd join you in heaven.

But the morphine is almost gone and

she won't be able to smile much longer.

Father No Longer Knows Best: San Francisco Set to Ban Circumcision

How dare they!
This is government run amok!
Especially since it may help as a first line in hygienic prophylactic to contracting AIDS in conjunction with stopping risky sexual acts.
Get out of our homes, our births, our babies, our religions and our rights!

Father No Longer Knows Best: San Francisco Set to Ban Circumcision | NewsReal Blog

It’s official. A controversial petition effort has succeeded in San Fransisco. This November, the city’s voters will decide whether or not to ban infant circumcision.

If the measure passes, circumcision would be prohibited among males under the age of 18. The practice would become a misdemeanor offense punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 or up to one year in jail. There would be no religious exemptions.

This would be the first ban of its kind in the United States. It would undoubtedly trigger litigation from religious groups alleging a First Amendment violation. Circumcision has religious significance for Jews and Muslims.

While religious freedom is surely threatened by the San Fran proposal, the larger threat is against parental rights. The vote evokes a question which serves as a litmus test separating libertarians from communitarians. Are parents the natural custodians of their children, or mere civil guardians beholden to the judgment of others?

iPhone, iPad tracking exposed

Apple makes great products and I have used them since 1984, but this intrusion into our personal movements is going too far!
Jobs has been hanging with the current regime in Washington too long. They wanted to have us report our neighbors to the White House if they complained about Obamacare. Now they can find us, easy. ♘

Summary Box: iPhone, iPad tracking exposed - Forbes.com
By The Associated Press, 04.21.11

TRACKING TUMULT: Privacy watchdogs are demanding answers from Apple Inc. about why iPhones and iPads are secretly collecting location data on users.

WHY IT'S A PROBLEM: Since the data is unencrypted, it would be easy for a hacker or a suspicious spouse or a law enforcement officer to find without a warrant.

No response from Apple as of yet
