Wages of Truth - CBS News’ Bombshell Confirmation: Yes, Sharyl Attkisson’s Computers Were Hacked

Bravery and honesty has a big toll, surreptitious hacking of your personal property and business through your computers. You got the "goods" on them and you will pay.
You will pay for investigating "Fast and Furious" and the killings in Benghazi. That is what our Dept. of Justice now considers how justice works, its revenge! m/r

CBS News’ Bombshell Confirmation: Yes, Sharyl Attkisson’s Computers Were Hacked | TheBlaze.com

CBS News’ Sharyl Attkisson, an investigative reporter who has doggedly pursued the truth behind the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, said in May that her personal and work computers had been compromised.
And now CBS News has confirmed her suspicions.
From CBS News spokeswoman Sonya McNair:
A cyber security firm hired by CBS News has determined through forensic analysis that Sharyl Attkisson’s computer was accessed by an unauthorized, external, unknown party on multiple occasions late in 2012.
Evidence suggests this party performed all access remotely using Attkisson’s accounts. While no malicious code was found, forensic analysis revealed an intruder had executed commands that appeared to involve search and exfiltration of data.
This party also used sophisticated methods to remove all possible indications of unauthorized activity, and alter system times to cause further confusion.
CBS News is taking steps to identify the responsible party and their method of access.
Now although no one has said outright that the Department of Justice is responsible for the multiple breaches, the agency’s treatment of Fox News’ James Rosen makes them a very likely suspect.
The DOJ, for its part, has denied any involvement in the Atkinson case ...

Who’s Spying on CBS Reporter Sharyl Attkisson?
June 14, 2013  National Review  -full short post-

CBS News reports that a forensics analysis of reporter Sharyl Attkisson’s computer shows that it was the subject of multiple unauthorized remote searches by unknown external parties late last year. CBS notes that whoever was responsible took sophisticated steps to scrub any evidence of the breach.
Attkisson was one of the few mainstream reporters to seriously pursue the Benghazi story late last year. (She was also one of the few to pursue the Fast and Furious scandal, and she alleges she was rewarded for her tenacity by being yelled at and cursed at by both a White House official and a DOJ spokesman).
Who would have both the capability and the most interest in accessing Attkisson’s computer at the time she was reporting on Benghazi?
