Since most Senators have no clue and don't know anything (except re-election), Senator Schumer tells Ben Bernanke: "Get To Work Mr. Chairman"

Since the Senate only has about 20 "work" days left until the November elections, Phony-Pompous-Hypocrite, Chas. Schumer has 'ordered' the Federal Reserve Chairman to "Get to Work." 
Schumer, the politician, not knowing what real work is, meant by his order to Ben Bernanke, print more money to see if that will help re-elect Obama.

It was a very political day for Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke on the Hill.  Bernanke was stuck between the push and pull of Republicans and Democrats on Tuesday, who tried to get him to give his blessing for either more tax cuts or further stimulus.  

Bernanke tried to stay on the sidelines, telling Congress it is “in charge,” not the Fed, but that he stands ready to unleash a new round of quantitative easing if labor markets continue to languish.
“I would like to highlight two main sources of risk [to the U.S. economy]: the first is the euro-area fiscal and banking crisis; the second is the U.S. fiscal situation,” Bernanke said. ...
Senator Schumer took his five minutes to give a short speech, bashing Republicans for blocking what he felt was bipartisan legislation.  Citing that tax cuts, infrastructure investments, and other policies had failed, he urged the chairman to take any action possible at the time.
“Get to work Mr. Chairman,” he said to Bernanke, after interpreting previous statements made by the chairman as a call for fiscal stimulus. ...
