'Catcher in the Rye' Author J.D. Salinger Dies - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com
This was the paper back issue that I read in 1965. My parents threw it out. I had to buy three copies. The second one was thrown out too.
A "Catcher in the Rye" movie is now planned now that the author is out of the way. It will probably go the way of all "Gatsby" movies because we all have our own personal mental movie of these novels. It's too hard to compete with that.
