Bloomberg's Mayors Group Includes Dead Boston Bomber on List of People Killed by Guns | National Review Online

June 19, 2013 -full short post-

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the older Boston Marathon bomber who was killed in a gunfight with police, was mentioned in a list of gun-violence victims who’ve died since the Newtown shooting at a Mayors Against Illegal Guns rally yesterday.
The rally, which is part of the group’s 25-state bus tour, was held in New Hampshire to protest Senator Kelly Ayotte’s vote against the Toomey-Manchin gun-control bill.
Tsarnaev’s death certificate states that he was shot by police, but was also run over by the SUV his brother used to escape the gunfight with police. When his name was read from the list outside the “No More Names” bus, some rally attendees protested, one shouting, “He’s a terrorist!”
The New Hampshire Union Leader reports that gun-rights supporters outnumbered Mayors Against Illegal Guns supporters about 60 to 40.
