Ladies and gentlemen, start your punchlines! Seriously though, Mythbusters is an entertaining and educational show, so if the President wants to go on and talk about Archimedes, great. (Though after the weekend, I have my doubts about what he president really knows about “facts and science.”) Hear hear!

But seriously, how thin are they planning on stretching the Obama brand here? Shouldn’t he be governing the country in the midst of a war and the worst economic crisis in 80 years? Or failing that, raising money for Democrats? Last year the guy made 411 speeches, comments and remarks; gave 42 news conferences and 158 interviews; and had 23 townhall meetings. He doesn’t appear to have slowed down much this year. Maybe the guy should take some meetings and avoid the fluffy stuff for while…
