A longtime Clintonite withdrew his support for Hillary Clinton
Sunday, citing "the very real possibility of a constitutional crisis"
should she be elected as his rationale.
During his Sunday appearance on the "Fox Report" hosted by Harris Faulkner with Pat Caddell and John LeBoutillier, Democrat consultant and pollster Doug Schoen said that it would be "very difficult, if not impossible" for him to vote for Hillary Clinton on November 8.
"As you know, I have been a supporter of Secretary Clinton," Schoen began. "Given that this investigation is going to go on for many months after the election -- if the secretary of state wins, we will have a president under criminal investigation...."
He said that under these circumstances he would have to reassess his support.
"I'm deeply concerned that we will have a constitutional crisis if she's elected," Schoen said. He added, "I want to learn more this week, [and] see what we see, but as of today, I am not a supporter of the secretary of state for the for the nation's highest office."
