Hewitt is an insignificant media complainer who loves to be the token "squishy conservative" on the most left of all its outlets. As with National Review, the possible lowest common denominator "Against Trump" is that he is not "Catholic" enough. Trump wants to keep out all those "Catholic" Mexicans. Trump isn't Catholic (nor is a good part of the GOP), he still seems to hold as many traditional conservative views as all the rest of the Old-Boy GOP. There has not been one cogent or significant reason given why the Old-Boy GOP is so dead set anti-Trump! He just isn't one of them. Trump never got hear the Old-Boy Freaks declare him "One of Us, One of Us". m/r

Hugh Hewitt: 'I Think the Party Ought to Change the Nominee'
By Tyler O'Neil June 8, 2016Hewitt discussed South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham's call for Republicans to un-endorse Trump, and argued that the party should support whomever the nominee is. At the same time, he claimed that the delegates to the convention should choose for themselves rather than abiding by the "binding" process of the primaries, by which states have bound the necessary delegates for Trump to win the nomination.
"I want to support the nominee of the party, but I think the party ought to change the nominee, because we're going to get killed with this nominee," Hewitt declared Wednesday morning on his radio show. "They ought to get together and let the convention decide."
