Expert: Potential that history of Islam could be ‘completely revised’
JERUSALEM—British scholars examining the oldest fragments of the Koran ever found believe it might be so old as to pre-date the prophet Mohammed, in defiance of Islamic belief.
According to tradition, the Koran contains the words of God as revealed to Mohammed while he was meditating in a mountain cave. The revelations are said to have continued over a 23-year period. Last month, portions of Koranic text written on parchment were identified in England among a collection of documents in the library of the University of Birmingham.
Scholars suggested immediately that they might be the oldest fragments of the Koran ever found. They were sent to experts at the University of Oxford for carbon dating, a method of radioactively dating ancient finds containing organic material, such as parchment made from animal skin.
The examiners estimated that the text was written between A.D. 568 and 645. By tradition, Mohammed lived A.D. 570 and 632. Although there is an overlap between parts of these two periods, the Koran was initially not a written document but memorized by believers and recited orally. It was not until A.D. 650 that a written form was completed, according to scholars.

The book is exactly what it says: The story of the most famous science graph of the 21st century and how it led, via Al Gore's movie and the United Nations, to a world of cartoon climatology where Obama, the Prince of Wales and other world leaders now routinely talk like the kind of gibbering apocalyptic loons who used to walk the streets with sandwich boards predicting the end of the world.
Fortunately, there are many sane scientists with a wide range of views on the issue who deplore the perversion and corruption of science in the Age of the Stick. I thought I'd round them up for a book, and found I had so many that we've had to save some of them for Volumes Two and Three. Full disclosure: Mann is suing me for calling his graph "fraudulent", which it is. The case is now in its fourth year in the clogged toilet of the District of Columbia courts - which was Mann's plan all along, and as he's previously done to Dr Tim Ball in Canada. Mann sues because he's incapable of debating those who disagree with him even mildly (as the book illustrates all too well), and the depraved court system in America's capital unfortunately rewards that kind of behavior. I'm fighting to win, because as a gentleman said to me out on the west coast this weekend, if I were to lose, it would be the biggest setback for freedom of speech in America in half-a-century.

Unfortunately Google has marked this site as containing Malware even though if passes their own Safe Browsing website test. Is it just another avenue taken to silence a Conservative opinion?
With the trust in our Government and the groups they are aligned with being at an all-time low, this is almost a little too reminiscent of the IRS the targeting of Conservatives.
