If House conservatives get
their way, Congress will soon be investigating whether the Justice
Department gave 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton
special treatment during its investigation into her improper use of an
unsecure email server while secretary of state.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.)
announced on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” Friday that he and
his colleagues (presumably from the House Conservative Caucus) are
calling for "a full review by the Judiciary Committee of the processes
and procedures that potentially gave Hillary Clinton a different process
and a different standard of justice than would be applied to any other
American.”
Gaetz said that the evidence now shows that the FBI gave the Clinton email probe “special status.”
In a recently released Oct. 23, 2016, email, FBI
Deputy Director Andrew McCabe wrote to press officials in the FBI that
the probe was under the control of a small team of people at the FBI’s
headquarters in Washington.
