How Many People Were Actually Killed by the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster? 64

To repeat: Sixty-Four. That was thirty-one directly at the scene (2 workers and 29 firemen) and the remainder directly by the its radiation. That does not quite match the thousands predicted in the press and by partisan environmental and other irresponsible groups, especially the media.
