Nothing: What Does the Shroud of Turin Prove about Easter?

It is another mediaeval faux relic designed to separate the faithful from their funds.

The Shroud is so carefully guarded so as not to expose its true origins that relic myths have formed with apocryphal "science" to prove it was from the 1st Century AD. It was once allowed to be carbon dated and found to be centuries later (AD 1260-1390) than the time of the crucifixion. The carbon dating was quickly dismissed by the faithful as flawed and the burnt linen hasn't been let out since.

I don't mind faith much, but I hate cons and scams, no matter who perpetrates them. m/r
