In the Northeast, and other sections of the country, campaign literature, ads and yard signs display logos, lots of color and the candidate's name. One is hard pressed to find out what their political party affiliation is.
I am afraid that is what Christie is looking for in his Senate pick. Today, it goes without saying (so I'll say it) if Christie could find a bisexual, biracial, bicycle riding, political bystander 'republican,' it would be about right for him. m/r
