I have had many bats invade my old house over the years. I was stupid enough to call my local animal control when I first encountered one. They asked, "What do you want us to do?"
No help whatsoever!
So in the future I would catch them in mid-flight and release them outside. The local animal control is worthless beyond cats and dogs.
