' Jersey Shore' and Abercrombie & Fitch may be up to an interesting, yet not unknown, form of extortion....PUBLICITY!
Abercrombie & Fitch were once the names associated with high style and fine outdoor outfitting. It was one of the finest places to go for sport's clothing, fine guns and fishing equipment. I was in awe the first time I stepped inside their department store in San Francisco. It truly reeked of Class!
How it has fallen into a low commonness of torn jeans and high decibel mall stores that are like a nightmare inside a ghetto-blaster.
I guess there is still some of the old DNA left over in their 'jean pool' for Abercrombie & Fitch to disassociate themselves from the lowest of lows on MTV. ♘
Clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch said it would offer “substantial payment“ to MTV's The Jersey Shore's cast members to stop wearing the brand on air.

“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino's association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans,“ an Abercrombie & Fitch spokesperson said in a statement. “We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.“
