90 Minutes of a Nightmare

Having declined to launch the third wave, Japanese fighters ended the attack and left after roughly an hour and a half. They had lost 56 men and 29 planes. In one photo: Smoke pours from wrecked American warships including battleships USS West Virginia and USS Tennessee.
