Presidential Libraries tend to be a continuation of their namesake's as Monuments to their Waste and Self Importance. I once thought it would be a good idea to make them part of existing Libraries on receptive College Campuses. Not any more for a couple of reasons. SMU (as reported) wasn't very receptive to this, even with a new building and publicity, and Colleges and Universities today are even bigger Monuments to Waste and Self Importance!
