"Dumbest Thing Any President or Candidate Has Said Since Michael Dukakis," - Ed Rollins was referring to Obama's support for the Mosque near the 9/11 'Ground Zero' Site.
Personally I find Ed Rollins to be part of the old style insider class as are many D. C. Republicans; e.g. David Gergen, the CNN token "Republican."
The Democrats and Bob Schieffer are whistling past the grave yard, trying to put a smiley face on the Obama administration.
Ed Gillespie at least makes some sense through the fog of this show.
Of Course- Face the Nation host, Bob Schieffer, agreed with the President's sentiment but lamented the political fallout: "The President said and made the right intellectual argument, but I'm not sure that it was great politics for him to say it at this particular time."
Guests: Four politicians from both sides, Ed Rendell (D-Penn.), Democratic Party chair Tim Kaine, former Republican Party chair Ed Gillespie, and Republican strategist Ed Rollins weigh in on the Ground Zero mosque controversy and what to do about the Tea Party and how it's threatening the Republican establishment.
